GuppyCubed desktop app guide
The GuppyCubed desktop app provides AI employee conversations and team chat rooms. Check your account and organization before choosing a conversation, attaching material, and sending a request.
Sign in and switch organizations
- Open the app. The welcome screen shows the red and white fish and GuppyCubed.
- Choose Sign in for an existing account or Sign up to create one. Complete the verification offered on screen.
- Click your avatar at the bottom left to check your account. If Switch organization is available, select the organization for this task.
Available sign-in methods and organizations depend on the service configuration and your permissions. If an organization is missing, check your account and invitation before creating another organization with the same name.
Chat with an AI employee
Select an AI employee in the sidebar and describe the work in the message field. Include the relevant material, output format, and completion criteria. For example:
Use the attachment to list meeting decisions and next steps, including owners, deadlines, and sources. Mark anything missing as needing confirmation.
Use the + beside the message field to attach files. Check the attachments and message before sending. Use the stop button if you need to interrupt a running AI task.
Collaborate in a team room
Open a group, project, or direct conversation from Chats in the sidebar. Write your message in the field at the bottom. Use + to attach files, then click Send. Enter sends the message; Shift + Enter adds a new line.
To involve an AI assistant, type @ at the end of the message field and select an assistant from the list. There is no separate @ button. The selected assistant appears above the field; click its x to remove it. The list appears only when assistants are available.
Click the room name at the top to view members, files, and available computer access. What you can see and do depends on the room and your permissions.

Click your avatar at the bottom left to open these actions:

Download the mobile app
Get the mobile app chooses the store for your desktop platform:
- macOS opens the GuppyCubed mobile app in the App Store.
- Windows opens the GuppyCubed mobile app in Google Play.
These links download the mobile app. Install it on the corresponding iPhone or Android phone. See the mobile app tutorials for mobile workflows. Available features and data scopes may differ between apps; check the actual interface.
Confirm actions and check results
When the app asks you to confirm an action or grant access, check the target, content, and scope before agreeing. Verify AI output against its sources. A sent message does not by itself mean the work has finished.
Do not paste passwords, verification codes, or API keys into chats or support requests. If sign-in, rooms, or attachments are unavailable, check your account, organization, connection, and any error shown. See security and privacy and troubleshooting for more help.
