Platform and integrations overview
GDDAO has two main entry points—the web platform and mobile app—and connects the tools you already use to the same work context.
How responsibilities are divided
- Web platform: The complete feature set and the best place to manage projects, the knowledge base, reports, websites, and AI work;
- Mobile app: A companion for field collaboration and data capture, not a smaller copy of the web platform.
Where to do different kinds of work
| Work | Recommended platform |
|---|---|
| Create projects and plan their structure | Web |
| Produce reports, presentations, and websites | Web |
| Manage members and permissions | Web |
| Record audio and take photos in the field | Mobile app |
| View and report task progress | Mobile app |
| Hold real-time team conversations | Mobile app or web |
In short: plan and produce on the web; capture information in the field with your phone.
Capture on mobile and continue on the web
For an interview, choose the workspace in the app, record, and submit. On the web, check the source in knowledge and request a report outline. Confirm the same account and work scope, and verify mobile upload completion.

Choose by the work
Use the web for comparing information, editing questions, and reviewing layouts. Use the app for capture, quick replies, and task access. Switching devices does not make pending processing finish immediately.
Connect external material deliberately
Authorize Drive or other services through their entries and select relevant material. Import, tool authorization, and public sharing are different operations. A connection does not automatically expose all files to the team or the public.
See web and mobile tutorials.
Choose a device for the situation
| Situation | Starting point | Continue by |
|---|---|---|
| Many files and long drafts | Web | Reviewing sources and layout on a larger screen |
| Field recording, photos, sharing | App | Confirming upload and filing |
| Notifications and tasks | Either | Returning to original work context |
| Membership and publication settings | Web management entries | Verifying as the intended role |
This is usage guidance, not feature parity. Use the corresponding web entry for management settings unavailable in the app.
Check before switching devices
Confirm account and workspace, upload completion, and the same source or task. A local recording visible on a phone does not establish that the web service received it.
A first cross-device exercise
Create a tutorial text on the web, inspect accessible material or tasks in the app, then return to drafting on the web. Investigate scope and location before creating disconnected copies.
The goal is smooth handoff. Field collection and long-form editing can use different devices and roles.
